The catch on each one — read this before you cancel anything
- **Fish Audio**: the free model has no hard cap under normal use, but Fish Audio has said this free access won't run forever. Use it now; check fish.audio's own pricing page before you build anything long-term on it.
- **Windsurf**: the part that finishes your code as you type is unlimited on the free plan. The chat/AI-assistant side has a lighter quota, enough to try it seriously, not enough to run a full workday on it for free forever.
- **Microsoft Designer**: free, no card, but monthly image credits are capped. Fine for one person's volume, not for an agency's.
- **NotebookLM**: free, no trial, no card. The most straightforwardly free of the five.
- **HeyGen**: the free plan gives you three videos a month, watermarked. That's permanent, not a trial period. Fine for testing the format; the watermark is the real trade-off once you need a finished video.
