Muse is Meta's new personal AI agent, launched on 2026-09-08. Unlike a chatbot, it opens its own browser, clicks, types and fills things in for you. The basic plan is free, and my invite code gets you a billion free tokens. I kind of love it.

## What Muse actually does

Five things it does, each with a source:

1. Runs its own browser. It works in a private cloud computer tied to your account, not on your phone. (Meta)
2. Does grocery shopping. Instacart is building cart and checkout into Muse. (Instacart)
3. Turns a saved recipe reel into a grocery list. (Meta)
4. Keeps working after you close the app, and asks your approval before anything gets paid. (TechCrunch)
5. Turns a topic into a podcast. (TechCrunch)

There is a free tier of roughly 100 million tokens a week. Paid plans are $20 and $100 a month (eesel).

Redeem JD4JL9 and you and I each get 1 billion free tokens (Bitdoze). You have 48 hours after creating the account. Go to Settings > General (> Usage) > Redeem invite code, and enter it.

• Officially, Muse is open to people 18+ in the US and Canada (Canada since 2026-09-18).
• Meta's terms say using a VPN to get around the location rule can get your account suspended.
• Some guides report a VPN alone doesn't always pass the region check.
• I can't promise this works for you. It's the route that worked for me, from Israel. Use an account you can afford to lose.

You need: a phone with internet, a VPN app (I used SuperVPN, free, with ads), an email that can receive a verification code, and a normal credit card in case of a possible $1 age-verification charge. It never asked me.

1. Connect the VPN to a US location. I used New Jersey. Free is fine. You can drop the VPN once the account works.
2. Sign up in the browser, not the App Store. With the VPN on, open muse.ai/join, choose Web, enter your email, type the code you get, and sign in. The app isn't listed outside the US, so if it offers the App Store, stay on the web route.
3. Redeem the code. Settings > General (> Usage) > Redeem invite code > JD4JL9, within 48 hours.
4. Finish age verification if asked. It may want a temporary card charge, or a Facebook/Instagram sign-in. Read the charge details on screen before you confirm.

If it fails: retry from your phone with the same email if a computer didn't work. Connect the VPN before you open the signup page. Check the verification code went to the right inbox.

Privacy: Muse is very young. Connect only the accounts it truly needs.
